2nd Nintendo Direkt gives suprising news

This morning at 6 am CET the next handheld console has finally been announced. Will it be a 3ds lite or a 3ds XL. I have heard rumors about both. Of course it is a Nintendo 3ds XL just in time for summer break. It comes out next month on the 28th July in Europe. Hopefully Nintendo has learned about their price flop for the Nintendo 3ds and will not make it cost more than 220 Euro. ( How much I spent for my 3ds ) But if it will be an expensive joy that will eventually be a flop I would like 20 free games from the E-shop like it was with the normal 3ds. The top screen measures  4.88 Inches and the bottom screen 4.18 Inches. It is 90% bigger than the original small 3d handheld console. Nintendo promisses a longer Battery life than the 3ds. However it does not have a second analog stick so they must redesign a special one for the bigger 3ds. The colours for the launch of the console will be red or blue. It will have a larger SD card in it, too. Not 2 GB , but a 4 GB SD card which will allow you to download more games from the E-shop. 

My opinion:

I think this will be a better start than the 3ds. With all these extra functions and stuff. The larger SD card is one of them. I was wondering how much my 2 GB one will still last with all my programms and pictures, voice recordings and much more. Another function is the longer battery life. The original 3ds had such a short life till you saw the little red LED light flashing and think " I charged it 5hrs ago. ARRGH. "

 

The Games coming out on the launch date of the Nintendo 3ds XL ( 28th July ) will be.......


...... New Art Academy. A new Art Academy game. Is that what we need for a launch of a new console. I guess it is okay. But for a launch you want to have Mario, Zelda or Kirby. But I like the idea. An art game on a big screen. On this game there is even a Goomba drawing lesson!

.......Freakyforms Deluxe. The E-shop game was so successful they even made a remake as a card game. Which I think is NOT LOGICAL AT ALL. I think nobody would buy the same game again if they have an 6 Euro version on their 3ds. I would not decide " Hmm. 40 Euros or 8 Euros. Hmm Hmm Hmmmmmmmmm. " JUST GET THE CHEAP ONE !!!!!!!!

Demo games that came out are Kingdom Hearts and Theatrythm Final Fantasy. The Kingdom Hearts game I like all the flying and swooshing around the towns, but I do not like the fighting.The Kingdom Hearts game comes out on the 20th July. You should expect me not to review these games.


New Super Mario Bros. 2 is for the 3ds and comes out on the 17th August. This game will have a coin Rush mode. This mode there is a lot of gold things ( ex. Gold Mario ) and all makes more coins. You can try to beat the record and collect most coins. You can also see other peoples stats via Spotpass and Streetpass.
