New Super Mario Bros. 2 review

New Super Mario Bros. Probably is the first game in Mario history where Bowser does not kidna Peach personaly.But of course she does get kidnapped. If she wouldn`t what would the Italian plumber do all day long. Plumb toilets with a very low salary???
Well this is the game that makes you rich.

There are special gold items that get you lots of coins. Take this gold block for example:
Mario jumps into this block and it stays on his head. What you want to do now, is to run as fast as you can and you will get lots of coins. But if you stand still you will get nothing.

There are lots more. Like the gold flower.
When Mario touches a gold flower it turns him to gold.
Like with the normal fire flower he can throw fireballs.
But the blocks or enemies they destroy will turn to coins.

Another very useful one is the gold ring. It will turn every enemy to gold.

Everything that will be turned to gold will of course give you more coins.

You should make good use out of these items in the special coin rush mode. One coin rush level is out of three random courses from the main story. You only have a short time to run it through though. You can choose to play as a normal Mario or to play as the invincible white racoon suit Mario.

You can exchange your records with your friends with Streetpass. As a little tip from me, you should run in the white racoon suit and try to land at the top of the flagpole. Because this will always double your coins.

Now you probably have been wondering who kidnaps Princess pPach. Well it is a lot of weird looking creatures that look like Bowser.

The main game is very short but it is hard to get all the coins.
There are also many new levels.

Nintendo even has a surprise for you for when you have collected one million coins ( It is harder than you think ). But I do not know what it is myself yet. But I will post what it is when I finally have all coins.
