On the Nintendo direct show a lot was revealed.

Up to two Gamepads can be connected to the Wii U.
For those who do not have a Wii, can buy a Wii remote plus set. This will include one Wii remote, one Nunchuk and one Sensorbar.
There will also be different coloured accessories.
You can also buy the sensorbar separately if you are buying the basic pack, which does not include one.
The Wii U Pro controller will be wireless and will be able to charge per USB. Up to four controllers can be used.
You will be able to play your old Wii games on the Wii U, but you can`t play any gamecube games.
Nintendo Land
Nintendo Land is the game that got talked most about. It will have a lot of fun games with many levels. The games on the left side are games you can play alone, but you can do multiplayer too. In the middle are games that you cannot play alone. To play those you must play with more people. The left side is all games you play by yourself.
